🎷 Autumn Jazz Band Course 2026

After a very successful Summer Jazz Band Course, with lots of initiative and enthusiasm from my students, I’ve decided to launch an Autumn Edition — with a slightly different format and focus.

This time, we’ll work together over five weeks, starting in October, diving deeper into what it really means to play in a band.

Throughout the course, you’ll work on:

• 🎵 Jazz repertoire and how to approach tunes as a band
• 🎸 Improvisation techniques and developing your own musical voice
• 🥁 Ensemble playing and interaction
• 🎺 Communication with your bandmates
• 🎼 Bandleading and how to confidently guide a group
• 👂 Listening and reacting to what’s happening around you

The goal is not only to learn about jazz, but to experience what it’s like to be part of a real working band — listening, communicating, improvising and creating music together.

And at the end of the five weeks, the band will perform a live concert for an audience at a Berlin venue, putting everything we’ve worked on into practice.

Open to all instruments — intermediate level.
