This live video captures the recording of La danza del sapito, one of the tracks from Alejandro’s EP Edurne. Filmed at Zentrifuge Studio in Berlin, the session offers a glimpse into the energy and creativity behind the project.
In this session at Garden 505 Studios, Alejandro opens up about his latest EP Edurne, tracing his path as a musician from Mexico to Boston and finally to Berlin. He shares insights into his creative journey, the influences that shaped his sound, and the stories behind his music. The interview closes with a unique performance: a solo jazz guitar rendition of a piece by Cuban composer Pablo Milanés, reimagined through Alejandro’s modern style.
Alejandro, shortly after arriving in Berlin, recorded his debut trio album “Conejo”, which consists of compositions from himself and from the other band members, and also Jazz Standards: take a listen!
